these international efforts to impose on Israel a negotiated solution along the terms that other countries think are appropriate.

I think that's a bigger impediment.

You know what is a bigger impediment?

The incitement to violence by leaders of the Palestinian Authority.

And that is not widely reported,

because often that doesn't make it into their English press releases.

But when they go around justifying these attacks,

when they dedicate monuments to so called martyrs, who are nothing but terrorists,

when they spread ridiculous rumors

about what the Israeli government is going to do on the temple mount, with the dome of the rock, these things that ensיימו violence. And so, I view these things as bigger impediments than all the other things. And I think it's accurate to say

that your position is not that you are opposed

to this ideal outcome in which there would be two states,

but that you recognize that at this moment,

given the circumstances that exist in the world today and in that region in particular,

it is not likely to have that outcome.

And hopefully that will change.

Hopefully the Palestinians will have a better leadership.

Hopefully they will be more prosperous.

Hopefully they will have an opportunity to grow their economy and their security.

And maybe in 20 years, 15 years,

5 years,

sooner rather than later,

we all hope that there will be the opportunity for this to occur.

But right now,
